Open Journal of Software Engineering

Software Engineering is one of the most complex engineering tasks. A good example is the GNU/Linux operating system. This project is the coordination of hundreds of thousands of software developers to create an incredible piece of software. These coordination efforts that every software project required and all the steps of its life-cycle need several research steps to understand and optimise the way we construct software. This open journal aims to provide new methods in software engineering and to disseminate new ways to deal with the software life-cycle.

This journal is open access only, keeping the authors the copyright of the paper under the Creative Commons license. Currently, its publications fees are waived for every paper submitted before January 2021.

The main research areas of the journal include, but are not limited to:

  • Software Development
  • Maintenance
  • Software Testing
  • Policies
  • Networks and Protocols
